You can make this dish, with any kind of meat. This recipe is with chicken.
Heat the oil in a large heavy pan and add the chopped onion, garlic and green chile and stir for a few minutes with the heat on high. Add all the spices except the tomato purée and salt.
Stir a little and turn the heat down to low and cook for 10 minutes, stirring now and again to make sure nothing burns.
Add the chicken and tomato purée. Let it cook for 45 minutes on a medium fire. Put some hot water in it, for a little sauce and add salt to taste.
You can serve this dish with Basmati Rice and one or more of the vegetable or side dishes you can find on our website.
