You can make this dish with any kind of meat, this recipe is with lamb.
Pour the oil or ghee into a large saucepan bring up to a high heat. Add the onions and chilies and fry for a few minutes. Add the Tita Madras Curry Powder and fry a few minutes more. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for a 5 minutes.
Then add the Lamb and the tomato puree, stir in well. Add a little water if the sauce is too thick and let it cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the yogurt and salt to taste and let cook for 5 more minutes. Garnish with the roughly chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve.
Serve with Basmati rice, chapatis or nan and any of the vegetable dishes you can find on our website.
