Mutton Biryani Rice

Mutton Biryani recipe by Tita Spices. Easy to make and with real taste.

Ingredients, serves 4

 

Spice Mix: Tita Biryani Masala

  • 3 tablespoons Tita Biryani Masala
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 250 grams Mutton (or lamb) washed and cut into small pieces.
  • ½ Curd (yogurt)
  • 1 teaspoon (Tita) Chili powder
  • A pinch (Tita) Turmeric powder
  • 10-15 Cashews, fried in a little desi ghee/clarified butter (optional)
 
  • 2 cups Basmati rice
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Tita ginger/garlic paste
  • A pinch saffron
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
